Utilizing Growth Dynamics’ ClientMAX Survey® program, Crane America Services releases the 2009 Crane America Services Customer Survey.

DAYTON, Ohio—Utilizing Growth Dynamics’ ClientMAX Survey® program, Crane America Services releases the 2009 Crane America Services Customer Survey, collecting valuable data and information to retain and grow business. Crane America Services is a nationwide leader of overhead material handling equipment, maintenance programs and advanced product solutions for all major brands in the material handling industry. For more than 30 years, industrial manufacturers across the United States have counted on Crane America Services to provide the most reliable crane equipment, repair and maintenance services available today.

As a leader in their industry, Crane America Services wanted a program that would arm their sales force with targeted solutions, recommendations and accurate customer feedback to improve customer retention and create new sales opportunities. In addition, a secondary initiative was to establish a new line of communication with customers that can be utilized as a future platform for increased communication to support the sales efforts of Crane America Services.

Collaborating with executive leadership, GDI customized the ClientMAX Survey to effectively assess, measure and track crucial customer feedback, suggestions and information to support current and future plans for growth and development at Crane America Services.

Based on a 30% response rate, the success of the 2009 Crane America Services Customer Survey was significant.

 
  The ClientMAX Survey collected and documented over 200 customer leads or requests for future business opportunities, resulting in a return on investment of $120,000 to $500,000 in future sales or services.
  87% of customers surveyed believed that “service and support” were their #1 reason for working with Crane America Services.
  53% of customers were seeking new programs and services for 2009 and 2010.

By completing the ClientMAX Survey, customers provided positive, insightful and valuable information to validate the on-going growth and direction of the sales and service organization at Crane America Services. The results, comments and trends point to a strong and loyal customer base interested in ways to help Crane America Services improve, develop and retain their accounts.
